Via Washington's Metro (Subway/Bus) Board METRO RED LINE to BROOKLAND/CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY station (obtain bus transfer prior to boarding train). At BROOKLAND/CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY station, transfer to a bus marked MOUNT PLEASANT, ROUTE H-8. Get off bus at corner of FIRST AND FORT STREET. Turn to your left and walk up hill towards NORTH CAPITOL STREET. The Academy is on your right at the second block, across from the ARCHBISHOP CARROLL HIGH SCHOOL.

From Baltimore, Montgomery County, Maryland and Points North From Baltimore, take ROUTE 95 SOUTH to ROUTE 495 CAPITOL BELTWAY. From Montgomery County, take ROUTE 270 to ROUTE 495 CAPITOL BELTWAY. Exit number 28, NEW HAMPSHIRE AVENUE SOUTH-TAKOMA PARK (towards Washington). Remain on NEW HAMPSHIRE AVENUE. Approximately two miles after entering DC turn left onto NORTH CAPITOL STREET. Continue on NORTH CAPITOL STREET following its turn to the left at the cemetery. After you have made this left (you remain on North Capitol Street) there will be two traffic lights. At the second traffic light, there is a sign indicating Fort Drive with a left turn lane and traffic light left turn indicator. Make that left onto Fort Drive/Harewood Road. We are the first building on your left after the turn.

From Northern Virginia and Points South From ROUTE 95 NORTH to ROUTE 395 towards DC: Cross the 14th Street bridge and exit for 14th Street. After passing the Washington Monument (on your left) turn right onto CONSTITUTION AVENUE- ROUTE 50. After seven blocks and just after the Department of Labor building, turn left onto LOUISIANA AVENUE. After two blocks, turn left onto NORTH CAPITOL STREET. Follow NORTH CAPITOL STREET for three miles past MICHIGAN AVENUE, also past exits for the WASHINGTON HOSPITAL CENTER and SOLDIERS AND SAILORS HOME. Next traffic light is Fort Drive/Harewood Rd. Turn right and the Academy is the first building on your left after the turn. From ROUTE 66 East towards DC: Cross the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge and follow ROUTE 50-CONSTITUTION AVENUE. Follow the directions above from CONSTITUTION AVENUE.

From the East Take the BALTIMORE-WASHINGTON PARKWAY towards DC. Follow ROUTE 50 NEW YORK AVENUE to NORTH CAPITOL STREET. Turn right onto NORTH CAPITOL STREET and continue past MICHIGAN AVENUE, also past exits for the WASHINGTON HOSPITAL CENTER and SOLDIERS AND SAILORS HOME. Next traffic light is Fort Drive/Harewood Rd. Turn right and the Academy is the first building on your left after the turn.
