Khatouna Khoutsishvili
Accompanist
Khatouna received her musical education in piano at the Tblisi Special School of Music for
Gifted Children, and received her masters degree as a soloist, accompanist and piano
teacher at the Tblisi State Music Conservatory in the Republic of Georgia. She has worked
with the Tblisi State Musical College, Tblisi Opera and Ballet National Theatre, and was
awarded first place in the 1985 National Competition for accompanists.
In 1992 she came to the USA and worked with numerous American companies and Ballet
Masters. In 1994 and 1998 she was the official competition pianist for USA International Ballet
Competition in Jackson, Mississippi. She joined the Kirov Academy of Ballet in 1999. |
